Favorite aspect of WAN: WAN is accessible to everyone and the youth is especially involved with this organization. We've even had multiple high school students serve on our board!
Fun Fact: Loves all ocean-related activities and watching documentaries
Through participation in beach cleanups with other organizations, Nadia gained awareness regarding the environmental crisis our planet is facing. She decided the best way to fix this was to create We Are Nature and connect people to the world around them. Nadia brings forth experience in leadership and marketing.

Jianan Zhang encountered WAN while simply browsing through the Internet for volunteer opportunities for environmental organizations. After discovering the opportunity to become Volunteer & Recruitment chair, Jianan has become deeply invested in the organization and it's message. This role is perfect for her, as she loves getting the chance to speak to others, and her communication and organization skills contribute widely to the organization's motives.

Heather Hannay came across WAN while looking for an environmental organization to donate her time Pro Bono. She has sense become thoroughly invested and dedicated to enhancing WAN and its missions. Heather brings forth an extensive background in marketing and graphic design.

Christopher joined WAN as part of his mission to positively impact the local environment and stem the negative effects of climate change. His vision is to elevate WAN to leadership position in ocean clean-up and climate change awareness in Miami and beyond. Christopher brings a diverse background in business, development and finance to the foundation. Christopher graduated cum laude with a BS in Economics from St. John's University in New York and has since been active in volunteer work in Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
